Position Overview
Crowe Forensics is looking for a diligent and knowledgeable Fraud Investigator to join its team based in Harare. The candidate should bring extensive experience in fraud risk management, forensic auditing, evidence collection, investigative reporting, and supporting litigation efforts. This role demands unwavering professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to uncovering intricate financial misconduct.
Key Duties
- Lead comprehensive fraud investigations from initial evidence gathering to final reporting.
- Analyze financial and transactional data to identify irregularities.
- Conduct interviews pertinent to investigations.
- Develop clear, defensible reports summarizing findings.
- Present investigative outcomes to clients, legal professionals, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare expert reports and provide testimony in court as needed.
- Evaluate fraud risks and identify internal control weaknesses.
- Recommend actionable strategies to mitigate fraud risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, regulators, and internal departments.
- Participate in fraud prevention programs, compliance assessments, and client training on fraud awareness.
