About the company
Gumloop builds AI infrastructure that helps companies safely enable everyone on their team to create and share agents. The platform supports controlled access to data, model selection, and deployment within a company’s own cloud environment.
The team is intentionally small and moves quickly. Companies such as Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are already using Gumloop for agent workflows. The company has raised more than $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and Nexus Ventures to grow operations and expand the team.
Role overview
Gumloop is hiring a Founding Product Designer to lead design across the full product experience. This person will own projects from early concept through launch, help shape the core design system, and partner closely with engineering and brand teams to deliver refined, easy-to-use interfaces. The role is senior and high ownership, suited to someone with strong visual judgment and a passion for complex AI-driven products.
What you will do
- Create fast prototypes for new ideas and features so concepts can be tested before full build-out.
- Identify places where important screens and user journeys can be improved, including smaller usability issues and rough edges.
- Help define and mature Gumloop’s product design language and overall vision.
What the company is looking for
- A track record of shipping polished products and the judgment needed to take work from near-finished to truly complete.
- Hands-on experience building prototypes in Figma, with additional familiarity using AI-assisted tools such as Paper, Claude Design, and Cursor.
- The ability to take feedback constructively, adjust direction when needed, and keep iterating.
- Comfort turning vague problems and mixed feedback into focused, clear design solutions.
Preferred background
- Experience with motion design or interaction design.
- Previous work on developer tools or products for technical users.

Compensation
The stated pay range is $200K to $300K.
