About SolitAir and Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Create, examine, authorize, and submit Operational Flight Plans (OFP) using the best possible flight routing, weather reports, NOTAMs, payload calculations, and aircraft capabilities.
- Maintain active flight watch responsibilities for both dry-lease and wet-lease aircraft, managing real-time operation control center (OCC) monitoring and flight progress tracking.
- Coordinate technical assessments by reviewing aircraft technical status documents like MELs/CDLs (provided by MCC) to accurately determine fuel penalties and payload restrictions.
- Oversee crew duty hours by tracking check-ins and actual flight times, promptly informing the Director of Operations Management (DOM) and Crew Control about potential Flight Duty Period (FDP) overruns.
- Serve as the communication link among Station Ground Handling Agents, Loadmasters, and Air Traffic Control, monitoring fueling, cargo handling, turnarounds, and departure sequencing; note that Loadmasters and Ground Operations handle cargo load control and weight/balance sheets.
- Maintain operational awareness of Dangerous Goods shipments by verifying that approved Dangerous Goods paperwork (NOTOC) from certified Cargo/Warehouse teams is included in flight documentation before departure.
- Input delay codes and update flight movement messages swiftly and precisely into company systems to keep Engineering, Crew Control, and Customer Service synchronized.
- Conduct technical briefings for flight crews, dispatch essential flight documents, maintain post-flight folders, and keep detailed communication logs.
- Manage flight re-planning and tactical changes during irregular operations (IRROPS), including re-clearing flights and considering alternate routes under DOM guidance.
- Adhere strictly to the Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards or safety deviations whenever identified.
Qualifications and Experience
- Holder of a valid ICAO-recognized Flight Dispatcher license.
- At least three years of professional experience in airline or cargo operations, flight dispatch, or operations control is desirable.

- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Skills and Attributes

- Meticulous attention to detail in all documentation, calculations, and operational tasks.
- Availability and flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties, as dictated by operational needs.

- Work within a closely connected team environment that values safety and dynamism.
- Possibility for career advancement within flight operations and the expansion of responsibilities to network planning and control roles.
