About the Role

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Flagging professional dedicated to facilitating safe travel around active public worksites by managing traffic control duties effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow at construction zones using hand signals and paddles.
• Set up essential safety equipment including flags, cones, signs, and markers.
• Assist with general construction tasks under the guidance of supervisors as required.
• Adhere to company policies for safe vehicle operation and maintenance, including cleaning company vehicles and equipment.
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Perform duties in diverse weather conditions and fulfill additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant job experience.
• Hold a valid non-provisional state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous flagging experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently work independently in remote locations, operate vehicles, perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting 10-25 pounds, and fine motor functions.
• Occasionally required to lift between 26-55 pounds and work with arms above shoulder level.
