Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to become part of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing critical reporting functions that support the company’s ability to track and enhance business performance. Key tasks include developing reports and financial models primarily using the Pigment platform. The analyst’s contributions will provide essential insights for business partners to align strategies and achieve organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the financial close process and associated reporting duties such as prepaid expense analysis and assessment of vendor costs.
- Design, automate, and improve dynamic financial planning models, systems, and processes tailored to the needs of a rapidly growing business.
- Create dashboards and conduct variance and operational performance reviews.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to guide effective decision-making and optimize return on investment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a results-driven and numerical mindset.
- Experience working with financial reporting tools such as Pigment, Adaptive Insights, or Anaplan.
- Strong attention to detail with an understanding of underlying factors behind financial figures.
- A balanced approach to model precision — rigor where needed but pragmatic on significant digits.
- A minimum of two to three years’ experience in financial analyst roles, consulting, or investment banking.
- Proficiency advanced in Excel or Google Sheets, with knowledge of SQL and BI tools like Looker being advantageous.
- Capability to independently develop and maintain financial models.
- Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders across organizational levels from operational staff to executives, including managing external relationships.
