Overview
We are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to spearhead finance transformation projects for Energy, Natural Resources, and related sectors primarily in Riyadh and Al Khobar. This role requires supporting CFO priorities including strategy, operating model development, process improvements, governance, data and technology implementation, financial reporting, planning, analytics, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex finance transformation initiatives for clients in Energy and Natural Resources sectors.
- Advise CFOs and finance leadership on strategies, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps tailored to business and sector needs.
- Develop and implement transformative initiatives across core finance functions.
- Oversee technology-driven finance transformations such as ERP, EPM, reporting, analytics, and data solutions from strategy to benefits realization.
- Provide guidance on best practices in digital finance, automation, and process harmonization.
- Facilitate executive-level workshops, steering committees, and engage senior stakeholders including CFOs and Finance Directors.
- Manage program economics, planning, quality control, risk mitigation, and resolve critical delivery challenges across multiple projects.
- Drive business growth through account strategy, client management, proposal development, presentations, and thought leadership in the market.
- Mentor and develop Associate Directors, Managers, and team members while helping expand the Finance Transformation practice in Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent are essential.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Additional professional credentials considered advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years in consulting or Energy & Natural Resources industry roles.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation programs.
- Experience with Energy, Natural Resources, Utilities, Chemicals, or other capital-intensive industries.
- Proven expertise in business development, proposal success, and managing senior client relationships.
- Background with Big Four or leading consulting firms preferred.
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of finance operations in capital-intensive sectors including Energy and Utilities.
- Expertise in finance strategy, target operating model design, and financial reporting transformations.
- Experience with financial close, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and EPM systems.
- Strong capabilities in cost management, profitability analysis, and performance measurement.
- Process redesign, governance enhancement, and financial controls optimization.
- Design of finance data structures and KPI frameworks.
- Leadership of ERP and EPM system transformations.
- Knowledge of digital finance, automation, and AI-driven transformation technologies.
- Program leadership with senior stakeholder engagement and risk management skills.
- Commercial insight for account development and new service offerings.
Required Skills

- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
