Finance Manager

Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring precise financial reporting, and supporting financial analysis alongside strategic decision-making efforts. This role demands a blend of accounting proficiency and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities such as general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial analysis tasks.
• Monitor liquidity and overall financial health of the organization.
• Lead and mentor members of the accounting team appropriate to managerial level.
• Manage both internal and external audit processes effectively.
• Interpret financial data to offer insightful and strategic advice.
• Maintain robust internal controls while enhancing accounting procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required.
• Possession of a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is mandatory.
• Having a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) credential is an advantage.
• Experience requirements vary: 3 to 5 years for Assistant Manager level; 5 to 8+ years for Manager roles.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with leadership and effective communication skills.
