Travel Requirements

Though the Finance Contracts Analyst role is remote-based, occasional travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices will be necessary for onboarding, team events, and bi-annual meetings.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Finance Enablement Manager, the Finance Contracts Analyst ensures precise and compliant billing and revenue operations. The role involves reviewing customer contracts and financial agreements, validating pricing and terms, and converting contract stipulations into accurate billing outputs. Collaboration is key, working closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams to address discrepancies, maintain revenue integrity, and enhance financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine and analyze customer contracts, amendments, and pricing terms to guarantee billing aligns with contractual commitments, including preparing and reconciling data for monthly revenue processes.
  • Validate pricing rates, discounts, terms, and special clauses in both simple and complex contracts; identify discrepancies or revenue leaks and work cross-functionally to resolve these issues.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Accounts Receivable to address customer queries, disputes, and clarify contract terms.
  • Handle credit and adjustment requests through detailed reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in process documentation, promote standardization and continuous improvement efforts, including automation and workflow optimization; assist with system testing and data quality projects that enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, subscription management, or related areas.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) within a Windows environment.
  • Capable of managing and analyzing large datasets across various platforms such as Tableau, JIRA, and Excel reporting tools.
  • Fluency in artificial intelligence tools and familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience using NetSuite and Salesforce applications.

Compensation Information

The salary range in Canada for this full-time, non-overtime eligible position is between $64,000 and $71,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits. Salary offers depend on relevant skills, experience, and location within Canada. Additional details will be shared throughout the hiring process.
