Role Summary
The Executive – Housekeeping and Manpower position, based full-time in Guwahati, Assam, involves overseeing daily housekeeping functions including monitoring cleanliness standards, managing cleaning resources and equipment, and scheduling housekeeping teams. This role requires ensuring adequate staffing across shifts, maintaining attendance records, performing routine inspections, identifying issues, and enforcing corrective actions to uphold service excellence. Additional duties include liaising with clients and internal departments, managing basic administrative tasks related to housekeeping and staffing, and assisting in training and onboarding new personnel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping supervision, facility management, or equivalent operational roles, preferably within commercial or institutional environments.
- Competence in manpower management encompassing scheduling, roster creation, and basic workforce planning.
- Capability to conduct inspections, document observations, and apply corrective actions to maintain cleanliness and service quality.
- Basic administrative skills for record keeping, reporting, and handling relevant documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective coordination with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Good organizational skills, attentiveness to detail, efficient time management, and emphasis on safety and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with standard office software tools such as email, spreadsheets, and word processing for coordination and reporting duties.
- A diploma, degree, or educational background related to hospitality, facility management, or a similar field is welcomed but not strictly necessary.
- Experience operating in Guwahati or comparable geographical locations within housekeeping or facility management is advantageous.
