This role is highly strategic, designed for someone eager to learn startup leadership and move quickly into positions like Chief of Staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, including meetings, travel arrangements, and prioritization to keep the CEO productive.
- Act as the primary liaison connecting the CEO with internal teams, investors, and external partners ensuring smooth communication.
- Monitor industry news, competitive landscape, and A.I. developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Organize impactful events such as meetups, happy hours, and networking gatherings across Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactively solve problems by anticipating needs and acting without explicit instructions.
- Participate in special projects typical of a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to bring structure to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
- Excellent communication skills across emails, phone calls, and presentations.
- Comfortable multitasking and managing shifting priorities and multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient with technology including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and rapidly adapting to new digital tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, thinking strategically like an owner rather than just an employee.
- Active social media presence with strong profiles on Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, or other platforms.
- Personable and energetic with a positive attitude contributing to team morale.
- A college degree is optional; focus is on capability rather than formal education credentials.
- Must reside locally within Southern California, specifically Orange County or Los Angeles area, due to the position's on-site nature.
