About NFX and the Role
NFX is a seed-stage venture capital fund located in San Francisco, led by four General Partners with a successful track record of founding ten companies resulting in over $10 billion in exits. The team works on innovative content creation and software tools for early-stage startup founders. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support one of our General Partners at our Hayes Valley office (34 Page St).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate internal and external meetings, utilizing Google Calendar and Zoom proficiently.
- Organize and prepare materials for presentations and various personal tasks, maintaining excellent information retrieval skills.
- Maintain clear priorities and enforce deadlines to ensure timely meetings and keep the GP focused on the most critical tasks.
- Coordinate complex travel logistics including multi-modal transport such as taxis, trains, and flights within tight schedules.
- Respond quickly and adapt to last-minute changes in travel plans or meetings.
- Support operations initiatives beyond direct EA duties, including investor relations, event organization, and other projects to help the firm function smoothly.

- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently managing unpredictable schedules.
- Exceptional at prioritization and maintaining focus amidst a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking skills with a talent for optimizing packed schedules that include numerous meetings and travel.
- A collaborative and present approach to work, excelling in face-to-face interactions for real-time adjustments and alignment.
- Tech-savvy and curious about leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience.

Additional Information
The General Partner you will support maintains an extremely busy and dynamic schedule, managing multiple priorities simultaneously and traveling frequently. A critical function of the role is to act as a proactive guardrail—keeping schedules and priorities aligned, redirecting when needed, and ensuring no deadlines are missed. A minimum of five years’ experience in an executive assistant or related role with a strong track record is essential. Trustworthiness and discretion are paramount.
