Excel Specialist - Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking an Excel Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role involves designing advanced business scenarios requiring expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The specialist will engage in detailed, structured conversations with a large language model (LLM), assessing AI-generated content and providing critical feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and simulate complex and realistic business cases using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word based on professional experience.
• Participate in multi-turn discussions with AI, submitting intricate document prompts and evaluating the AI outputs.
• Create, examine, and compare Office files (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx) by analyzing two AI-produced responses and determining the superior result.
• Provide comprehensive feedback and detailed preference comparisons to enhance AI training and improve model accuracy and business relevance.
• Apply domain expertise across various industries and business functions to ensure diverse, real-world data coverage.
• Communicate clearly and thoroughly in written and spoken form to provide precise, actionable feedback to the AI development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word in high-impact projects within Fortune 500 companies.
• Proven skill in building complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations in fields such as finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
• Experience in roles like private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, financial planning & analysis analyst, HR, or marketing strategist, with direct involvement in deals or projects.
• Capability to design use cases covering strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or human resources functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with strong attention to detail and clarity when providing feedback.
• Prior experience interacting with large language models or composing extensive AI prompts is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to discern subtle differences in document quality and business impact.
