Examinations Invigilator

Role Overview

Cheshire College - South & West is recruiting Examinations Invigilators to support their Examinations Department across various campuses including Crewe, Ellesmere Port, and Chester. This part-time position offers hourly pay and the opportunity to play a vital role during assessment periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise both internal and external examinations to ensure fair conduct.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security surrounding examination materials, adhering to guidelines set by JCQ and other examining bodies.
• Support the wellbeing and safety of students during the examination process.

Additional Opportunities

Invigilators will have the chance to undergo further training to act as readers and scribes, assisting students with special access needs.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least a GCSE Grade C (or grade 4/5) or equivalent qualification in English and Maths.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles relevant to educational settings.
• Exhibit strong organisational abilities.
• Have a competent level of digital skills.

Compensation and Contract

• Hourly wage set at 3.88.
• Engagement offered as bank staff, with part-time working hours.
• Positions available on-site across multiple campuses.
