About the Company
Paradigm Operations LP-AL is seeking an experienced Entity Controller to join their International Accounting team based in Dublin, Ireland. The company supports numerous enterprises in financial infrastructure, striving to enhance global business operations and expand economic opportunities through advanced payment technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the monthly financial closing processes for both US GAAP and local accounting books, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and reporting deliverables.
- Oversee statutory audit preparation, including drafting financial statements, producing technical accounting memos, supporting audit procedures, and presenting findings to the board of directors.
- Maintain expert knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS/FRS102 standards and produce relevant technical accounting documentation.
- Collaborate across multiple teams such as Tax, Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and Legal on various projects and initiatives.
- Supervise finance outsourcing partners to ensure adherence to filing requirements and compliance timelines.
- Drive improvements in finance processes through process simplification and automation efforts.
- Stay informed about updates and changes in accounting and tax regulations applicable in Ireland.
- Manage and review the preparation of direct and indirect tax returns.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, preferably including audit training (Big 4 experience is favored) and corporate industry exposure.
- Proficient in accounting systems such as Oracle or equivalent platforms.
- Experienced in managing large-scale audits involving both central and local teams, as well as tax filings.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and FRS102/IFRS accounting standards.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects successfully.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to adapt to evolving demands within a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Experience with financial consolidation processes.
- Academic background in Accounting or Finance.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a passion for tackling complex challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in payments, fintech, or financial services sectors.
- Prior accounting experience within a rapidly expanding technology company.
- Familiarity with Hubble or SQL tools is advantageous.
