Electrical Site Engineer

Their expertise spans FEED, EPCM, PMC, commissioning, and advisory roles primarily within the industrial sector focusing on manufacturing, processing, energy, hydrogen plants, cold storage, and specialized facility projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, contractor pre-qualification documents, and other construction submissions to ensure adherence to project criteria.
• Continuously monitor the project execution and maintain thorough documentation related to the work performed.
• Conduct onsite inspections, sampling, and testing of materials to verify conformity with contractual specifications.
• Review and provide feedback on contractors’ execution method statements.
• Perform final inspections required for the certification of project completion and handover.
• Evaluate and comment on contractor technical queries.
• Inspect materials on and off-site intended for the project and coordinate external field and laboratory testing to validate compliance with standards and acceptability for the project.
• Confirm the presence of all necessary statutory NOCs, permits, and design approvals at the construction site.
• Handle daily inspection requests for work and materials.
• Supervise construction operations for quality and specification compliance.
• Maintain and advance project quality control protocols applicable during construction supervision.
• Ensure that all materials received satisfy technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Initiate and manage records, progress reports, back charge procedures, and similar documentation as required.
• Undertake additional duties relevant to this role as necessary.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with attested certification; equivalency certificates are highly valued.
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial project environments.
• Registration with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) is desirable.
• TAQA approval will be considered an advantage.
• Capable of managing and coordinating specialized tasks, disciplines, or a medium-sized team.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Strong command of English, both oral and written.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Currently residing in the UAE.
