Overview
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within allocated budgets, and meet all quality and safety regulations. This role demands interaction and collaboration with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.
- Coordinate efforts among design, procurement, and on-site teams.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure quality.
- Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor progress and compile regular status reports.
- Manage relationships and performance of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Control project expenditure and maintain budget compliance.
- Communicate with clients to address project concerns and issues effectively.
- Oversee timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
Technical Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of HT/LT electrical panels, transformers, DG sets, cabling, wiring, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure comprehensive testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges encountered on-site.

- In-depth understanding of electrical systems and end-to-end project execution.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Thorough knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Effective vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Superior communication and team coordination skills.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical project execution, preferably within commercial, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.

Minimum education
Diploma / ITI / Vocational
