Role Overview

We are searching for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team at Vel Electronics in Deonar, Mumbai. The role involves designing and testing electrical circuits based on customer requirements and ensuring high-quality standards are met through rigorous analysis and testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematic diagrams and perform simulations using industry-standard software tools.
• Design electrical circuits considering customer needs and specify ratings for individual components.
• Develop technical specifications for electrical components and prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams.
• Establish test and inspection protocols to support Quality Assurance and Production teams.
• Conduct various tests to verify systems and components comply with required standards.
• Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery.
• Document all testing activities and generate manuals detailing specifications of electrical components and systems.
• Provide training sessions for technicians and junior engineers to enhance team capabilities.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, industry standards, and relevant regulations to continuously improve design practices.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5.
• 0 to 3 years of professional experience in electrical circuit design and testing, preferably within the Power Electronics sector.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as MATLAB and PSpice.
• Practical experience in assembling, testing, and debugging electrical circuits.
• Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles and current industry practices.
• Excellent skills in drafting and designing circuits and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to analyze problems thoughtfully and devise effective solutions.
• Good communication skills with strong documentation abilities.
• Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering.

Additional Information

The position is based onsite in Deonar, Mumbai. Please note that the company does not offer travel or relocation allowances.
