Role Overview

We are seeking an Ecommerce Specialist to join our Digital & eCommerce team. This role is key to managing daily trading activities on the Showpo website, collaborating across Product, Operations, and Marketing to create a cohesive and effective online shopping experience focused on increasing conversion rates within a brand-driven environment.

Key Duties

  • Track and analyze core ecommerce metrics like conversion rate, average order value (AOV), bounce rate, and revenue, proposing tests to enhance outcomes.
  • Immediately identify and communicate any irregularities in ecommerce performance, collaborating to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a customer-focused perspective in trade activities to enhance retention strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure ecommerce capacity aligns with marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and update content on Shopify and CMS platforms to reflect current trends and campaigns.
  • Refresh homepage and promotional assets consistent with launches and sales events.
  • Contribute to monthly trend planning, helping determine product placements and launch timings.
  • Implement SEO practices, particularly in product data and content optimization.
  • Oversee Shopify backend operations alongside the Ecommerce Trading Manager.
  • Develop expertise in our technology stack, including Shopify, Nosto, Sanity, and Hydrogen.
  • Collaborate with external SEO and development agencies to support digital objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong enthusiasm and knowledge of fashion.
  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience with Shopify.
  • Experience managing ecommerce across multiple markets, including Australia, the US, and the UK.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite or similar productivity tools.
  • Proven track record in fast-paced digital teams that focus on growth.
  • Experience steering growth in emerging markets with a strong focus on localization.
