Role Overview

Optisupply Chain Solution Private Limited is seeking dependable and seasoned Drivers to manage the transportation of goods within a set cluster, ensuring same-day delivery with a prompt return to the base location within 24 hours. The role involves operating a tempo traveller commercial vehicle (specifically a Force Motors model) with utmost safety and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently transport goods between designated locations inside the cluster area.
• Develop and follow route plans and schedules to guarantee on-time delivery.
• Manage the loading and unloading of cargo from the vehicle.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip, reporting any issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Comply rigorously with all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
• Maintain detailed delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and logbooks.
• Coordinate clearly and continuously with dispatchers and team members.
• Offer superior customer service to clients during deliveries.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid commercial driving license (CDL) with authorization for HTV/HMV/LMV transport vehicles.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience driving commercial trucks.
• Strong knowledge of applicable traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Capability to endure long driving hours and perform well under stress.
• Sufficient physical fitness to manage cargo loading and unloading tasks.
• Readiness to work on flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with GPS navigation and transportation-related technology.
