Role Overview
The Director of Strategy Operations plays a pivotal role in driving the execution of Calvin Klein's strategic priorities. This position ensures cohesive alignment from strategy development right through to delivery by acting as a critical liaison between strategy, operations, and implementation. Through structured frameworks and rigorous project management, this role brings momentum to complex, cross-departmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert strategic plans and leadership intent into actionable roadmaps with defined milestones and measurable results.
- Lead and oversee major cross-functional programs from inception through successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain execution frameworks, governance structures, meeting cadences, and decision-making protocols to ensure consistent progress.
- Collaborate with global, regional, and functional teams to promote alignment and effective execution.
- Monitor progress on initiatives, identify risks and dependencies, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Structure ambiguous problems and develop scalable frameworks to support strategic choices.
- Create clear, concise presentations suitable for executive-level audiences and senior leadership forums.
- Continuously seek process and operational improvements within strategic execution and organizational workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (such as MBA) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategy execution or operational planning.
- Strong skills in project and program management.
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to break down complex topics and design scalable strategic frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills suited for senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders effectively.
- Business-minded with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable with operating in uncertain or ambiguous environments.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary for this position ranges from $147,500 to $199,200 annually. The role is eligible for bonus and equity awards.
