Position Summary

The Director of Project Management is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for managing large, cross-departmental initiatives within our product and technology portfolios. This role includes overseeing project and program planning, allocating resources, setting timelines, and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic goals, deadlines, and budgets. The Director collaborates closely with teams in product development, engineering, operations, and client engagement to define project scope, manage risks, resolve obstacles, and align stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project governance and monitor progress and financial health across the project portfolio.
• Report portfolio performance to senior leadership regularly and strive for continuous improvement in project management practices.
• Mentor and guide project managers to enhance team capabilities.
• Contribute strategically to organizational initiatives affecting project and program landscapes.

Required Qualifications

• Program management expertise to supervise multi-project efforts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align projects with organizational strategy.
• Proficient project management skills including planning, execution, tracking, risk management, scope control, and stakeholder communication.
• Financial acumen to create and manage budgets, forecast expenses, and optimize resource use effectively.
• Leadership qualities to mentor project managers, promote collaboration, and cultivate a culture of high performance.
• Experience implementing process improvements through the design and refinement of project governance frameworks and best practices.
• Proven track record leading sizeable technology or fintech initiatives, preferably in financial markets, risk management, or data-centric products.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills suitable for a distributed, remote work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines; advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, or SAFe are beneficial.
