Job description
Role Overview
This position involves managing the complete lifecycle of IT hardware devices, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals from procurement through disposal, while ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee device lifecycle management encompassing acquisition, installation, maintenance, and retirement.
- Provide deskside IT support and maintenance including Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMAC) services.
- Serve as the on-site IT liaison for business users, addressing hardware and software concerns promptly.
- Maintain hardware inventory and support hardware and OS refresh deployments.
- Deliver first-level assistance for printers and multifunction printers.
- Manage mobile devices via Intune and utilize SCCM for software deployment tasks.
- Support Microsoft Office 365, Internet Explorer, VPN software, and system tools such as Active Directory and Computer Management with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Execute patch management and vulnerability remediation on workstations.
- Administer device provisioning, configuration, deployment, and inventory management platforms.
- Handle incident, problem, and service request tickets using ServiceNow and contribute to Knowledge Base documentation for support procedures.
- Track hardware and software assets within ServiceNow configuration management processes.
- Provide basic audio-visual support in meeting rooms, coordinating with external AV service providers as needed.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT support operations.
- Resolve end-user computing infrastructure issues effectively and efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting deskside IT operations and end-user support.
- Hands-on expertise in resolving hardware and infrastructure customer issues.
- Proficient with Intune Mobile Device Management and SCCM deployment methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of Office/Microsoft 365 applications, network VPN, Internet Explorer, Active Directory, and related Microsoft management tools.
- Capability to perform workstation patching and vulnerability management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with business users.
Additional Information
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Denver, CO. The candidate will act as the IT representative on site to ensure business continuity through prompt technology issue resolution and hardware management.
