Role Overview

As Design Director, you will lead the strategic and conceptual development of AlphaSense’s brand, shaping design systems and experiences that consistently reflect our identity across all touchpoints. This role balances visionary leadership with hands-on creation, nurturing the design team's growth and collaborating cross-functionally to align ambitious brand initiatives focused on demonstrating that true intelligence surpasses mere access.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine the creative direction for AlphaSense's brand across multiple platforms including campaigns, product presentations, OOH advertising, social media, websites, and events.
• Lead development and execution of bold, idea-driven branding projects, ensuring high standards of originality and craftsmanship.
• Engage directly with design work when necessary, maintaining close involvement in creative processes within a lean team.
• Mentor and expand the brand design team alongside the Design Manager to elevate design quality and sustain a positive, inspiring team environment.
• Forge productive partnerships across marketing, product, web, communications teams, and external agencies to drive stakeholder alignment on creative projects.
• Maintain and advance the AlphaSense design system to guarantee consistent yet flexible brand expression.
• Innovate ways to integrate product stories into brand narratives, highlighting platform capabilities creatively.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of AlphaSense’s products, customers, and enterprise market context to produce meaningful, value-driven design solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 annually USD. Candidates may also receive performance bonuses, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary offers are individualized based on qualifications and experience.
