Demand Manager

Role overview

Etihad Airways is hiring a Demand Manager in Abu Dhabi to strengthen revenue performance through precise demand forecasting, careful analysis of market movement, and close coordination with commercial teams. The role supports network PRASK goals by turning data, trends, and competitor intelligence into practical revenue actions.

What you will do

• Use forecasting and revenue management methods to help deliver monthly revenue goals and improve overall network revenue.
• Build demand forecasts across multiple dimensions such as booking class, departure time, day of week, origin, and destination, with special attention to peak periods and major events.
• Manage revenue opportunities during high-demand windows so the business can benefit from changing demand patterns.
• Track competitor fares, market developments, and external trends to spot risks and opportunities and adapt pricing or revenue actions accordingly.
• Review revenue performance regularly, study key metrics, and recommend improvements based on data.
• Refine demand patterns, check system-generated outputs, and maintain accurate origin and destination data to improve revenue management and network planning decisions.
• Work with commercial, network planning, alliance, sales, e-commerce, marketing, and loyalty teams to keep pricing and revenue actions aligned with business priorities.
• Use revenue management systems and analytics tools to support decisions and uncover revenue potential.
• Identify process improvements that can enhance revenue outcomes over time.
• Contribute specialist input on demand strategy for revenue management projects.

What we are looking for

• A degree-level education or equivalent relevant analytical experience.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a numerate and analytical function.
• Strong familiarity with airline systems and tools such as PROS, origin and destination systems, GDS, DDS, and reporting platforms including Tableau and Zenztech.
