Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Conduct physical monitoring of the data center environment to ensure operational integrity.
• Prepare and maintain periodic reports related to data center activities and performance.
• Manage ServiceDesk activities including issue tracking and resolution.
• Log and monitor calls in Solar Winds and PCS systems for hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• Follow-up with PCS remote support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Handle user management tasks within Active Directory environment.
• Monitor file transfers using Connect Direct and oversee relevant workflows.
• Manage DHCP IP reservations and DNS entries to maintain network configurations.
• Maintain inventory records for data center (DC) and NDR assets.
• Administer tape media assets and oversee software library maintenance.
• Create and close Requests for Change (RFC) as per process guidelines.
• Generate audit reports and track patching dashboards for system updates.
• Monitor and support Just-in-Time/Point services, including reprinting tasks.
• Manage queues based on requests in the APM server environment.
• Handle updates and ticket management within SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
• Perform basic monitoring and troubleshoot issues related to Windows operating systems and VMware virtualization.

Additional Information

Job Location: Pune (Ranjangaon)
Notice Period: Immediate availability required
Compensation: Up to ₹32,000 per month CTC
Job Type: Permanent position with Future Focus Infotech Pvt Ltd; deputed to a CMMi level 5 client company.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Data Center Engineer.
