Data Analyst

Overview

This contract position, based remotely but tied to Jersey City, NJ, requires a mid-level professional with 5 to 7 years of experience. The Data Analyst will empower business decisions by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data with accessible tools and methods, emphasizing insights from reports and dashboards without intensive coding or technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and arrange data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Examine business trends, patterns, and overall performance.
• Create visual reports such as charts and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Work jointly with various business departments to clarify reporting requirements and guarantee data accuracy.
• Handle both routine and ad hoc data reporting requests.
• Maintain documentation and uphold consistency within reporting procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
