Job Overview
The Securities Master File team within the Data Service Delivery division is responsible for the daily collection, validation, and distribution of market data essential for RBC Investor Services’ product offerings. This role demands ensuring timely and precise security setups across multiple applications to meet client needs, prioritizing delivery quality and adherence to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to client queries to uphold the company’s reputation and support client retention.
- Verify and reconcile security setup data discrepancies by coordinating with vendor sources.
- Maintain communication channels with all business units to receive security setup information.
- Configure multiple types of public and private securities, including funds, bonds, and money markets.
- Complete end-of-day checks for same-day requests, ensure compliance with existing procedures, and stay updated on policies.
- Monitor all security setup issues to guarantee timely resolution and follow-up.
- Contribute as a supportive team member by participating in cross-training and covering during absences.
- Identify problems proactively and escalate them promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services.
- Strong understanding of the securities industry with advanced PC and MS Excel proficiency.
- Ability to analyze critically and manage tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent team collaboration skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Possessing the Canadian Securities Course designation is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

- Standard weekly work hours: 37.5 hours.
