Overview
Mavin Construction LLC seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate project teams, clients, and vendors from initial concept through completion. This role ensures projects meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards through hands-on leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager
- Familiarity with construction industry software for project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff, and BIM
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in company meetings such as weekly M3 meetings, quarterly reviews, strategic planning, and leadership/team development gatherings
- Manage client relationships, contracts, business development efforts, and ongoing warranty management
- Handle administrative duties including preparing meeting minutes and monthly project reporting (especially when Assistant Project Manager is unavailable)
- Respond to Requests for Proposals, lead client interviews and meetings, and oversee initial pricing and budgeting processes
- Coordinate design meetings, control costs, manage municipal permits and submissions, and administer subcontractor solicitation, awarding, and negotiation
- Define project scope through site visits and material assessments
- Use CMiC software to set up and maintain project budgets and submittals
- Develop and manage master project schedules, update site plans regularly, and contribute to weekly schedules driven by site superintendents
- Lead project kickoff and client/architect/contractor meetings and oversee subcontractor meetings
- Maintain a safe work environment, monitor material status, ensure high-quality workmanship, and manage project documentation
- Oversee financial controls including Request for Information (RFI), Potential Change Items (PCI), Change Orders (CO), invoice approvals, billing, cost forecasts, and issue resolution
- Troubleshoot scheduling challenges and proactively solve problems
- Manage project closeout tasks such as administration, as-built documentation, operations and maintenance manuals, punch lists, owner training, and documentation
- Attend industry-related events and assist with hiring and onboarding within the construction team

- Act as a leader and mentor to internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients through all project phases
- Create and sustain a positive and collaborative team environment to navigate challenges effectively
- Take full accountability for the success or failure of projects
- Maintain strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and ongoing maintenance projects
- Support company growth by sharing knowledge and fostering leadership development
- Contribute positively to the organizational culture and overall health
- Drive approximately $10 million in annual revenue through project delivery
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes (the "Mavin Way")
Reporting Structure
- Reports to either the Director of Operations or Director of Sales (alternating annually)
- Directly supervises Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen
