Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce and promote company safety and quality standards consistently.
• Coordinate onsite activities between mechanical and other project disciplines.
• Oversee and maintain the construction project schedule.
• Participate in onsite coordination meetings with clients.
• Manage labor and equipment needs in liaison with site supervisors.
• Supervise subcontractors working on the project.
• Report project progress and issues directly to the project manager.
• Collaborate with site engineers and safety officers to meet project objectives.
• Maintain tight control on labor allocation to minimize costs.
• Ensure all variations in the project are properly documented for quantity surveying purposes.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience on mechanical projects within pharmaceutical or oil and gas industries.
• Preferably a time-served fitter or holds a mechanical engineering qualification.
• Strong knowledge of piping isometric and general arrangement drawings.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated with commitment to high work standards.
• Methodical and systematic problem-solving approach.
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills across all levels.
