Role Overview

As a Community Associate based in Singapore, you will serve as the main point of contact and face of WeWork. Reporting to the Community Management team, you will support daily building operations and member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting, collaborative community environment by organizing events and building member relationships.
  • Ensure the building operates smoothly and that procedures are efficiently followed.
  • Promote WeWork's services and offerings to members for growth.
  • Support the Community Team by taking guidance from Community Leads and Managers.
  • Provide front desk coverage during business hours, greeting and assisting members and guests with warmth.
  • Manage guest sign-in processes in compliance with WeWork policy, maintaining security and tracking.
  • Learn member and guest names to foster connections and personalize experiences.
  • Maintain the front desk area’s orderliness and ensure communication about deliveries and couriers.
  • Answer queries about building policies, facilities, and community etiquette.
  • Assist with event planning: provide feedback on event types, promote events via posters, handle operational needs, and evaluate event impact.
  • Celebrate member milestones through personalized gestures like gifts and notes.
  • Engage members actively on the WeWork network and recommend local amenities such as dining, delivery, and services.
  • Manage mailroom activities including sorting, organizing, issuing mail, and handling lost or unclaimed packages.
  • Oversee key and keycard management, including inventory and collection on member move-outs.
  • Support usage of emergency equipment and assist with automated coffee machines for members and guests.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a college graduate or equivalent, though not mandatory.
  • At least one year experience in hospitality.
  • Experience in customer service or sales is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrate qualities such as integrity, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
  • Passionate about entrepreneurial communities and aligned with WeWork’s mission and values.
  • Basic proficiency with computer operations.
