Role Overview
As a Commercial Analytics Manager, you will analyze and evaluate the performance of products, sales channels, and marketing efforts to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. You will design, manage, and continuously improve initiatives aimed at enhancing business, marketing, and campaign outcomes by leveraging advanced analytics, data science, and AI techniques to uncover growth opportunities, patterns, and key factors impacting customers and the market environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize the effectiveness of acquisition and traffic channels (e.g., SEA, SEO, Social Media, Display, TV) throughout the entire customer journey up to conversion, considering budget, competition, pricing trends, seasonal effects, and other influencing variables.
- Evaluate digital marketing initiatives for efficiency, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and value contribution.
- Create insightful analyses, reports, forecasts, and management dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, finance, and other stakeholders as a data-driven advisory and analytic resource.
- Prepare, visualize, and present critical insights and recommendations tailored for management and leadership levels.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate complex data structures into concrete measures and decision templates.
- Several years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or performance marketing analytics, preferably within digital environments.
- Experience analyzing and managing online marketing campaigns including performance and conversion management.
- Proficiency with modern analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools; familiarity with AI-driven analytics or advanced analytics methods is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of business metrics, business models, and data-driven management mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences.
- Organized, independent, and solution-oriented working style combined with strong teamwork and cooperation abilities.
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken.
