Role Overview
The Commercial Analyst is instrumental in assisting the sales team with commercial and pricing activities spanning mobile and fixed services involving re-signing and new acquisitions. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals keen to develop commercial acumen through supporting sales with deal analysis, pricing, financial modelling, and contributing to commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales by providing commercial insights for new deal opportunities.
- Develop financial models and prepare documentation for approval processes regarding commercial decisions.
- Deliver precise pricing analyses to inform recommendations.
- Examine statements of work to identify early commercial risks.
- Ensure pricing structures comply with contract terms and rate cards.
- Provide accurate support for the hardware fund and credit processes.
- Collaborate closely with sales and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth deal progressions.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint.
- A naturally curious individual with keen interest in enhancing commercial competence.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills paired with a cooperative team mindset.
- Adaptability and quick learning ability within a supportive team setting.
- Prior experience or exposure to sales or commercial functions is beneficial, but not mandatory.
