Position Overview
We are hiring a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator based in Humble, TX, to manage clinical trials and research studies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines while maintaining high-quality data. This role acts as the primary contact among study participants, medical staff, and sponsors, significantly contributing to cardiovascular research advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise clinical trial activities ensuring compliance with protocols and relevant regulations
- Participate in obtaining informed consent and uphold participant safety and ethical requirements
- Coordinate study visits, procedures, and follow-ups with healthcare professionals
- Accurately collect, document, and report clinical trial data in a timely manner
- Maintain regulatory documents, patient records, and electronic databases thoroughly
- Assist in the preparation of study reports, regulatory filings, and quality assurance initiatives
- Work collaboratively with physicians and research teams to enhance patient recruitment and retention
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; a Master's degree or clinical research certification (ACRP, SOCRA) is preferred
- Experience coordinating clinical trials, preferably within cardiology or vascular research settings
- Familiarity with informed consent processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and communication abilities
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively in a clinical environment
