Job Overview
Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning duties at residential rental properties. Tasks include move-in and move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing properties for readiness. The client specializes in managing residential rentals and supports property owners, tenants, and internal teams through leasing, maintenance, inspections, and ongoing management.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit residential rental properties to perform cleaning appointments, including move-in/move-out and rental turnover cleaning.
- Conduct general residential cleaning adhering to company standards.
- Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Remove all dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as necessary.
- Wipe down a variety of surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Clean inside appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
- Identify spots needing extra cleaning or requiring junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos of properties and completed work.
- Submit detailed updates, notes, and media after each cleaning visit.
- Maintain professional communication with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants when applicable, and internal teams.
- Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, property access protocols, and appointment specifics.
Additional Duties
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Ensure properties are photo, showing, inspection, and move-in ready.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in residential settings, housekeeping, cleaning contracting, or similar roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential cleaning standards.
- Access to reliable transportation to commute between properties.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each assignment.
- Comfort with independent fieldwork and attending properties without supervision.
- Own an iPhone 13 or comparable smartphone equipped with a high-quality camera.
- Skilled in capturing clear photos and videos and able to document work effectively.
- Ability to compose clear notes and provide detailed updates after visits.
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Capable of following detailed checklists, instructions, and property entry guidelines.
- Effective and respectful communication with all stakeholders including property owners, tenants, prospects, and team members.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with move-in, move-out, and rental turnover cleaning processes.
- Experience cleaning residential rentals prior to photoshoots, showings, inspections, or move-ins.
- Adept at identifying issues such as damage, maintenance needs, junk accumulation, pest concerns, access complications, or hazards.
- Previous independent work experience within property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services environments.
