Cleaner / Car Detailer

About the Role

Keeping our fleet looking pristine is vital for operations at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown. We are seeking a reliable individual with a strong work ethic and sharp attention to detail to join our supportive and friendly team as a Vehicle Service Agent. This is a permanent full-time role offering 40 hours per week with comprehensive training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare the interior and exterior of returned vehicles, including washing and vacuuming
• Inspect vehicles for any new damage and report according to company procedure
• Check and record gas levels and odometer readings accurately using handheld devices
• Refuel vehicles, check fluid levels, and inspect tyre conditions including pressure and tread depth

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full, clean, valid Class 1 driver's licence is mandatory
• Experience in physically demanding or hands-on roles preferred
• Able to maintain high work standards in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather conditions
• Capable of following procedures and adhering to company policies and standards

Working Hours and Conditions

Our branch operates 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
