About the Role

Royal York Property Management is a prominent property management firm in Canada overseeing thousands of residential rental units in Ontario. They are seeking dependable and meticulous Cleaners to expand their cleaning team. This position involves various cleaning tasks like move-in/move-out cleaning, vacant unit turnover, and routine housekeeping in occupied residences. Cleaners will independently manage travel to their scheduled cleaning jobs, ensuring all properties meet company cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough move-in and move-out cleaning for rented residential properties
• Execute detailed turnover cleaning in empty apartments and houses
• Perform ongoing housekeeping services in occupied homes as needed
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and common areas thoroughly
• Handle detailed cleaning of baseboards, interiors of cabinets, and appliances
• Use a mobile application for receiving assignments, following instructions, GPS navigation, photo upload, and updating job progress
• Inspect completed work to verify it meets company expectations
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or areas unsuitable for proper cleaning
• Travel independently between appointments using personal vehicle

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least two years of paid professional cleaning experience
• Proficient and comfortable with both move-in/move-out cleaning and standard housekeeping duties
• Possession of a reliable personal vehicle to transport yourself and cleaning equipment
• Own necessary cleaning supplies and tools to fulfill cleaning tasks
• Have a compatible smartphone capable of running a mobile work app, including GPS, camera, and job update features
• Comfortable cleaning detailed areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, baseboards, cabinets, and appliances
• Ability to work autonomously while adhering to cleaning protocols
• Basic command of English for communication
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with GPS-verified arrival times
