VTRIN is developing an AI-driven, multilingual Export Management Marketplace designed for SMEs. It integrates export readiness, product localization, buyer discovery, RFQs, compliance, documentation, payments, finance, insurance, logistics, and trade intelligence into a unified global platform, combining features of a global export B2B marketplace and logistics services.

Role Overview

As the Equity-based CTO Co-Founder, you will collaborate closely with the Founder to transform the business plan into a scalable, functional product. This unpaid position offers an equity share subject to vesting and milestone agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Founder to translate the business vision into a viable product.
• Develop the platform architecture, select the technology stack, define MVP scope, and establish the development roadmap.
• Rapidly create an MVP using minimal resources for imminent investor presentations.
• Engage in hands-on software development including coding, testing, and technical troubleshooting.
• Build initial features such as exporter onboarding, product listings, multilingual interfaces, buyer matching, RFQs, quotations, documentation, and workflow monitoring.
• Implement AI functions related to export readiness, market recommendations, compliance, and trade intelligence.
• Design secure APIs integrating logistics providers, financial institutions, payment gateways, customs services, and partners.
• Set up cybersecurity measures, cloud infrastructure, data protection protocols, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery plans.
• Evaluate existing codebases to decide on retention, enhancement, or redevelopment.
• Recruit and lead teams across engineering, AI, data, cybersecurity, DevOps, and product management.
• Oversee technical contractors ensuring ownership of source code, data, documents, and intellectual property by VTRIN.
• Assist in investor pitches, technical due diligence processes, funding applications, and forging strategic partnerships.

Required Technical Skills and Experience

• Proficient in hands-on, full-stack software development and coding.
• Experience developing SaaS platforms, marketplaces, fintech solutions, logistics systems, AI, or enterprise platforms.
• Expertise in front-end and back-end development, database management, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, large language models, machine learning, workflow automation, and data engineering.
• Strong background in cybersecurity, privacy, identity management, and secure software engineering.
• Adept at designing scalable, modular, API-first, and multilingual platforms.
• Familiar with DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment.
• Capable of quickly progressing from concept to functional prototype and commercial MVP.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, long-term dedication, integrity, and readiness to initially work in an equity-based role.
• Prior experience as CTO, technical founder, lead architect, or senior technical leader is advantageous.

Additional Information

This is a hands-on technical leadership position rather than a purely managerial role; the CTO is expected to actively write code, develop features, review technical work, and resolve development challenges during early company stages.
