Role Overview

The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at The Tools Man Industrial Supply holds a full-time remote position, tasked with crafting and steering the company's long-term strategic goals. This leadership role is central to expanding business across private and government sectors, entering new markets, and reinforcing relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Duties

• Develop corporate strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Perform market assessments and competitive analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyze financial performance to pinpoint opportunities for improving operations and services.
• Work alongside executive leaders to align business plans and establish measurable objectives.
• Guide strategic projects from initial concept through to execution.
• Monitor performance metrics and manage risks associated with strategic initiatives.
• Clearly communicate strategic goals across various levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in business and strategic planning to define, assess, and implement growth initiatives over the long term.
• Advanced analytical capabilities for interpreting market data and performance indicators to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Strong financial acumen for evaluating budgets, profitability, and investment prospects aligned with strategic aims.
• Experience in executive management with a track record of leading diverse teams, influencing key stakeholders, and driving organizational transformation.
• Industry experience in industrial supply, distribution, or similar sectors is highly preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in communication, negotiation, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting while maintaining collaboration with senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is desirable.
