Chat Moderator

About the Role

Buzz Group Careers is seeking a Chat Moderator to join their Live Bingo team based remotely. This position involves being the engaging personality driving conversation and community in Buzz Bingo's online chat rooms, ensuring a welcoming, lively and inclusive atmosphere. The role offers 20 flexible weekly hours with shifts spanning from 9:00 AM to midnight including evenings and weekends. The annual salary for this position is £13,322.40.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a fun and interactive environment within online chat rooms.
• Foster relationships with customers to encourage active participation and community growth.
• Host various interactive activities including games, quizzes, competitions, and live events.
• Support promotions, campaign executions, and live bingo sessions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer messages and inquiries.
• Monitor chats to enforce community guidelines and ensure a safe, inclusive space.
• Promote responsible gambling by identifying and escalating any concerns as necessary.
• Award customer bonuses and credits according to company procedures.
• Meet designated KPIs, quality benchmarks, and service standards.
• Assist in testing and development projects aimed at improving the customer experience for Live Bingo users.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, community management or customer-facing roles.
• Strong written communication skills with meticulous grammar and attention to detail.
• Proficient typing and ability to multitask effectively.
• Computer literate with capacity to navigate multiple systems concurrently.
• Passion for engaging customers and creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to tailor communication styles to a diverse clientele and situations.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with bingo, gaming, or online community environments.
• Experience moderating digital forums, online communities, or social media channels.
• Background in hosting digital events or initiatives focused on customer engagement.

Additional Information

• Shift work flexibility is essential, covering hours from 9:00 AM to midnight, including weekends, evenings, and peak trading times.
• Periodic travel may be required to Buzz Bingo Clubs for event support, training or community outreach.
