Role Overview

The key responsibility for this position is to aid the Community Development Councils (CDCs) in enrolling heartland merchants and hawkers into the CDC Vouchers Scheme. As part of this nationwide effort, you will work closely with these merchants and hawkers, addressing their questions and assisting with troubleshooting operational and technical issues related to the scheme. In addition, you will support other initiatives under the CDC Vouchers Scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist CDCs and Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) in engaging and conducting outreach to local merchants and hawkers in heartland areas.
• Encourage and guide merchants and hawkers to register for the CDCs' voucher scheme and motivate them to promote the scheme through their social media channels.
• Provide merchants and hawkers with essential training and guidance during the onboarding process to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to participate in the program.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and support for IT devices used by merchants, hawkers, and residents.
• Act as a communication liaison for merchants, hawkers, and residents related to the CDCs' schemes by addressing inquiries and collecting feedback.
• Collect data and stories from engagements and surveys involving merchants, hawkers, and residents for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Collaborate with government agencies and community partners, including merchants’ and hawkers’ associations, to enhance program effectiveness.
