About the Role

Home Instead seeks compassionate and dedicated Care Professionals to enhance the quality of life for aging adults in the Hedgesville area. Both full-time and part-time openings are available across all shifts. Experience with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, or Dementia care is advantageous. The role involves providing personalized non-medical support that enables clients to live comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain professional, effective communication and relationships with clients, their families, and team members.
• Deliver tailored in-home assistance to senior clients addressing their particular needs.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clients' living spaces.
• Provide reminders to clients for self-administered medication.

Requirements

• Show respectful and dignified treatment towards seniors and their property.
• Demonstrate a friendly and congenial communication style with clients.
• Successfully complete a criminal background check, DMV record check, and drug screening.
• Hold a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration.
• Be at least 18 years old.
