Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be tasked with producing qualified sales leads for Business Development Managers within targeted account groups by engaging in proactive outbound sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and guide potential clients through early sales process phases.
- Book outbound meetings using multiple channels including cold calling, personalized emails, social media engagement, and video prospecting.
- Perform market research to identify and target prospective customers.
- Leverage creative approaches to engage with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Prior success as a BDR or Sales Development Representative in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Proficiency in prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities.
- Consultative, analytical, and strategic mindset toward sales activities.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence naturally.
- Proven experience selling to the Australian market, especially enterprise-level businesses.
- Background in selling complex technology products is advantageous, particularly in payments, though not mandatory.
- Self-driven with enthusiasm to grow alongside a rapidly scaling company.
