- Contribute to global strategy discussions as part of the leadership team.
- Analyze market conditions to forecast customer requirements and business impacts.
- Forge senior-level relationships with key prospects and strategic partners.
- Enhance sales process effectiveness using CRM tools and sales methodologies.
- Drive an outward-facing, proactive sales team towards ambitious revenue and growth targets.
- Manage quoting, proposals, and contract finalization collaboratively.
- Monitor sales pipelines and team performance to optimize sales output.
- Maintain competitive intelligence on rivals’ products and strategies.
- Develop and improve campaigns to boost brand awareness and demand in the market.
- Set clear team roles, objectives, and KPIs and hold team accountable to results.
- Oversee achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets and budget.
- Engage in active prospecting and networking to uncover strategic sales opportunities.
- Lead select strategic sales pursuits directly.
- Represent Travelport as a speaker or panelist at key travel events.
- Research and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in sales roles demonstrating successful leadership in complex, value-driven, consultative sales and account management.
- Proven team management experience with strong influence and resource-leveraging capabilities.
- At least 7 years’ expertise in solution-based selling within the travel technology and/or high-tech sectors, preferably familiar with Travelport’s product offerings for travel agencies.
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry and solution-selling in technology environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Capability to inspire and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Robust problem-solving skills and creative thinking approach.
- Ability to serve as a change agent with flexibility and openness to new ideas.

Emphasizing health and wellness, the company provides a generous paid time off policy, supports a hybrid work model, and encourages community engagement with an annual volunteer day. Parental leave benefits include 16 weeks paid leave for birthing parents and 8 weeks for non-birthing parents.
