Role Overview
As a Business Analyst at Winning Services, you will collaborate with warehouse, fleet, and commercial teams to decode the network’s operations in terms of performance, costs, capacity, and service levels. You'll translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that enhance business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Warehouse, 3PL, and Commercial teams to tackle operational challenges and pinpoint impactful analysis opportunities.
- Lead and prioritize analysis and reporting tasks for Winning Services in partnership with GM and Operations leaders.
- Scrutinize operational data encompassing delivery metrics, labor, inventory, fleet, and expenses to uncover trends and improvement areas.
- Diagnose root causes of operational issues and suggest viable, tailored solutions.
- Create and sustain recurring reports and dashboards to enable Operations teams to take informed actions.
- Contribute to business case development, feasibility assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for improvement projects.
- Partner with IT and Technology teams to translate operational needs into clear technical specifications when solutions require system changes.
- Manage testing and validation processes for new systems or modifications before implementation in warehouses.
- Track adoption and success of implemented changes, refining approaches based on operational feedback.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, process guides, and training materials for warehouse and operations staff.
- Apply continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma to deliver measurable network-wide enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a tertiary degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related area.
- Bring over five years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations Analysis, or Continuous Improvement, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain sectors.
- Have practical expertise with process improvement techniques like Lean or Six Sigma applied in an operational context.
- Demonstrate robust data manipulation and visualization skills using tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI to inform decisions.
- Experienced in mapping and documenting business processes and stakeholder requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and execute multiple small- to medium-scale projects from analysis through implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile or similar project delivery methods is advantageous though not essential.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills focused on actionable operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with credibility to engage effectively across teams.
- Flexible to work onsite two days per week at the warehouse and one day at Head Office.
