Role Overview
An expanding technology company specializing in fibre and connectivity programmes is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to facilitate complex systems integration and transformation projects. This position involves collaborating with diverse technical and business teams to shape requirements, develop process maps, and ensure smooth delivery across various platforms and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate technical and business requirements related to fibre and technology initiatives.
- Conduct workshops with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders to design future-state processes.
- Support end-to-end systems integration projects by thoroughly understanding data flows and dependencies.
- Develop comprehensive process maps, gap analyses, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with delivery, architecture, and engineering teams throughout project stages.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and serve as a link between technical and non-technical groups.
- Assist in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and promote successful adoption of new business solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within fibre, telecommunications, connectivity, or related technology sectors.
- Proven track record delivering complex systems integration and transformation projects.
- Expertise in mapping intricate business processes and translating those into actionable outputs.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with effective communication across organizational levels.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, fibre provisioning, OSS/BSS platforms, or telecommunications systems is highly advantageous.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering tangible results.
- Capability to function independently within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Additional Information
This role is based primarily onsite in Reading, England, requiring attendance approximately one day per week in a hybrid working pattern. It is an initial contract position of six months duration, operating outside IR35 regulations.
