Role overview
The Beta Pilot Leader will oversee the full lifecycle of beta pilots for new services and programs. This includes shaping pilot goals, setting timelines, and defining the measures used to judge success. The position is based in South Goa and follows a hybrid model, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
What the role involves
- Design and manage pilot plans, including objectives, schedules, and outcome metrics.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and community partners to move pilots forward.
- Introduce participants to the pilot process and provide ongoing support throughout the pilot.
- Track pilot performance, gather structured feedback, and maintain data records.
- Review pilot findings to identify patterns, learnings, and areas that need refinement.
- Prepare clear summaries, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
- Lead meetings and small group sessions in a respectful, participant-focused manner.
- Handle operational issues as they arise and keep pilots moving smoothly.
- Ensure all pilot work follows ethical and safety standards.
- Keep documentation accurate and up to date across the pilot period.
Qualifications and skills
- Background in coordinating projects or programs, including planning, scheduling, and field or pilot operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with participants, community contacts, and internal teams in person and online.
- Ability to gather, organize, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative information, then present it clearly.
- Good problem-solving ability and comfort adjusting quickly when circumstances change.
- Confidence facilitating discussions, workshops, or meetings with a respectful and participant-centered approach.
- Integrity, empathy, and cultural awareness when engaging with diverse communities.
- Working knowledge of basic digital tools such as email, spreadsheets, video calls, and documentation platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, management, public health, education, or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior exposure to community programs, social sector work, or pilot testing environments is a plus.
- Ability to travel within South Goa when needed and manage work effectively in a hybrid setup.

This is a full-time position. The role requires maintaining ethical conduct, participant safety, and accurate records throughout every stage of the pilot process. Candidates should be comfortable working across disciplines and contributing ideas that help improve programs in practical settings.
