Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices using .NET Core, adhering to domain-driven design principles and well-defined API contracts.
- Create individually deployable services employing RESTful or event-driven architectures that prioritize scalability, resilience, and fault isolation.
- Ensure secure communication between services with robust authentication, authorization, and configuration management implementations.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage microservices on Microsoft Azure platforms such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Service Bus, and Storage, while automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate effectively across various teams and liaise with customers for status updates and project deliveries.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 10 years of experience developing software with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Proficient in building RESTful APIs with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Storage, and Application Insights for deployment and monitoring.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including writing queries and stored procedures.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps and Git.
- Ability to work seamlessly in Agile or Scrum development environments, collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork and coordination.
