Key Responsibilities

• Possess deep understanding of long-term operations trends and supporting systems, including global initiatives like SESAR and NextGen, and future roadmaps from top industry suppliers.
• Have participated in international ATM events and conferences, gaining broad insight into ATM stakeholders including various ANSPs, regulators, and agencies, their roles, and innovation areas.
• Bring experience in ATM training and instructor requirements, as well as ATM system definition, development, testing, and acceptance experience (ideally 10 years, though not mandatory).
• Serve as Operational Lead supporting squads as Customer Advocate for Future ATM operational value, collaborating in:
  • Trend and use case assessment in Future ATM
  • Development of ATM concept of operations
  • Creation, development, and refinement of ATC user stories to ensure they are clear, feasible, and testable
  • Refinement, demonstration, and testing of operational components
  • Providing ATM awareness training to squad members and ongoing support with operational concepts beyond CAAS support; ensuring operational concepts are maintained across all phases
  • Leading operational input for workshops and producing documentation reflecting CAAS’s vision for future ATM systems
  • Evaluating and validating the operational benefits of use cases within AIR Lab

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong knowledge of ANSP and ATM system technical deployment environments
• Familiarity with software development, testing, and validation platforms for ATM, real-time applications, and/or safety-critical systems
• Previous experience working in Agile teams with solid understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to collaborate effectively in teams to solve complex problems, optimizing and simplifying solutions
