Role Overview and Location
The Associate Manager, Events position is based in New York, NY and reports directly to the Executive Director of Events. This role contributes significantly to Condé Nast's Events Studio — a centralized team that orchestrates culturally impactful live experiences that integrate storytelling, entertainment, luxury, and brand influence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in producing a variety of live events including flagship tentpole franchises, customized events, partner activations, and internal gatherings within the Events Studio.
- Coordinate logistical aspects such as vendor management, production timelines, venue operations, guest experience, talent coordination, and on-site event management.
- Maintain and update production documents including timelines, run-of-show schedules, staffing plans, and communication materials to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate fluidly with internal editorial, sales, marketing teams, and external partners to create experiences that uphold Condé Nast’s high creative and editorial standards.
- Support planning efforts through developing budgets, production schedules, and scopes of work ensuring alignment among all stakeholders and vendors throughout the event lifecycle.
- Drive operational excellence by organizing production documentation, promoting best practices in workflows and processes, and actively participating in post-event evaluations to enhance future initiatives.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Experience ranging from 2 to 4+ years in live event production, experiential marketing, media, brand partnerships, hospitality, project management, or equivalent fast-paced, cross-functional roles.
- Strong organizational abilities with acute attention to detail and excellent project coordination skills.
- Passion for live events, storytelling, culture, and delivering exceptional audience engagement experiences.
- Ability to adeptly juggle multiple priorities while responding swiftly to changes in fast-moving settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills paired with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proven aptitude for managing complex projects with various stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
- Motivation to grow within a highly collaborative experiential team environment and versatility to contribute across different brand events and formats.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range is between $70,000 and $83,000 annually, dependent on skills, experience, education, and other relevant considerations. Alongside salary, employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package and may qualify for additional discretionary bonuses.
