Associate Maintenance Engineer (Pharma) - 12-Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Maintenance Engineer to join a leading multinational biopharmaceutical firm on a 12-month contract based in Tuas, Singapore. The role focuses on providing critical technical and documentation support to senior maintenance engineers within a GMP-compliant environment. Successful candidates will engage in work order management, CMMS data handling, vendor coordination, and cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with technical documentation adhering to GMP standards.
• Review and support the creation of work orders and service requests, including offline verifications.
• Manage job plans, inventory items, and assets within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Compile and analyze CMMS data trends as directed by maintenance leadership.
• Coordinate with external vendors to gather required documentation information.
• Conduct fundamental site checks to support documentation accuracy.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, SAP, and Maximo proficiently to aid record-keeping efforts.
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams such as Quality and Manufacturing to ensure GMP compliance in maintenance documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Engineers or Managers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or a diploma in mechanical engineering with at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience should be in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Chemical, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Basic knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) is required.

Additional Information

This is a contract role offering a salary up to 5000 SGD per month, commensurate with experience, along with a completion bonus. The position requires onsite presence in Tuas, Singapore.
